I am joining some of my fabulous colleagues, the Blakeley Babes, in trekking 13 miles to raise money for the very deserving Alzheimer's Society. I consider myself very lucky that I have never been directly effected by this cruel illness, but I have watched close friends and colleagues who have had to live theough losing a loved one in this terrible way. This one is for them. 

The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
