We Aim to relieve emotional psychological to Families who experienced baby loss

Story

At 6months pregnant on the 17th March 2022 our lifes changed forever.... the pain I can't put into words... lost in world shattering pain for days.  I will never forget telling our parents the news as we tried to process the information ourselves.

Our beautiful girl Maisie Wallace Whyte was born at 26weeks on 25th March at 7.30am.... we left the hospital with a box later that day.

My GP gave me sands number and I was passed round various services to relive the trauma over and over while I mentally struggled with this gap in my life. Grieving not only for our baby but the future we had planned as a family.

A few weeks ago I was recommended baby loss retreat and I can honestly say I have been supported since with couselling and an ear at the end of the phone.

We cant bring Maisie back  but  I can raise awareness of this service and give someone else the chance to receive the support I am currently getting as Maisies Mum.

Thank you for everyone who has donated cash/books or bought books.

Who are baby loss retreat???

Our charity offers aftercare support after leaving the hospital. You can contact the charity through our website www.babylossretreat@hotmail.com

We arrange to have a 1 to 1 to decided together what support is needed at the time.

To support a parent through 6 counselling sessions & 2 days retreat cost £500. This will help the parent get the support that is needed after leaving the hospital if they wish to take support straight away.

Why am I fundraising?

Jacqueline Lamont and the staff @ the balloch house Hotel kindly offered to raise some funds and awareness in Maisies name following the loss of her on 25th March 2022.
This started with selling books that can be purchased and dropped off at the balloch house Hotel.

Some people have choosen to donate cash which all sales/donations go to baby loss retreat who are providing me with 1:1 couselling which I have found has helped me in so many ways and I would love to give back some cash that will go to help another parent.

How can YOU help?
