Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 8th October I am running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon and then just 7 days later I will be running the Great Birmingham Run as well. I will be raising money for Invest in ME Research, for all those affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and who want to run but can't. I have a friend with ME and I know she'd love to go for a run with me but she can't. Running two half marathons just one week apart will be a difficult challenge for me. I have two young children and work part time as well, so fitting in the training and also recovering between the two races will be a challenge but I know it'll be worth it to raise as much money as possible for such an important charity.

There is very little research into ME and the money I raise will go towards funding biomedical research, education and lobbying so a cure/treatment for ME can be found.
