Story
For the last 3 years I have been volunteering with the Choir With No Name, who run choirs for people who have experienced homelessness or are otherwise marginalised.
Every week we enjoy tea and coffee together, followed by an uplifting singing rehearsal, and to top it all off, a lovely hot meal (and sometimes cake too!).
It is a phenomenal organisation, who make a genuine difference to those they work with, be it through a hot meal, a friendly face, some support with difficulties or new found confidence to sing solos in front of peers, or huge audiences at gigs. It feels like a big family, and it is the highlight of my, and many others' week.
Me and some fellow volunteers and staff are running the Brighton Half to raise some dosh, and I'd really really really appreciate your support!
If you could chuck a bit my way, however big or small, I would be forever grateful.
Fair to say I'm not a runner so the more motivation to get me round this 21km course the better. (motivation = dosh. wink wink).
