Story

This sky dive had been rescheduled many times and the latest date fell a couple of days after my Dad's birthday, with clear skies all day it was like it was meant to be.

 So I can confirm, I've done it! 13th May 2023 😀😁

I would like to thank all who have supported me in this mission to raise money for such a remarkable cause, from friends, family, my students, and those whom I don't even know, thank you for your kindness - it makes such a difference to others in need. To help the Hospice carry on delivering the highest quality care and support to patients and their families, and to continue to develop and secure the resources necessary to achieve this, now and in the future.

I have completed this Sky Dive to show my gratitude and to support this truly exceptional and life altering service that the Hospice provide.

Please feel free to continue to donate I shall leave this just giving page active until 30th of July 2023.

Previous information:

This Christmas, I'm doing something extraordinary/crazy! I'm celebrating in style and I've taken on a challenge to make it a Christmas to remember.  I am going to do a skydive!!!

I made a crazy statement that if I was mad enough to get married, I would be mad enough to dive out of a plane (the things we say in jest)! Well I have this year got married.  I am terrified but going to do this anyway, and dressed as Santa!!

I am seeing it as an opportunity to raise some money for a charity very close to my heart. My Dad, as you know was involved in work with the Hospice as well as sadly have cancer himself.  My Nanna also required their support soon after sadly my Dad lost this battle, which was a challenging time for my family.  To lose two members of your close family so close together was so hard, the hospice support was incredible, and as a family we are all very grateful.  Recently my husbands Grandma has needed Hospice help at home, again so we are emotionally indebted once again.

What a charity, I would like to show my gratitude by raising money for them.  I felt this Santa Skydive could be just the way to do it.  So I am asking for you help by sponsoring me do this crazy skydive and to raise money to support this truly exceptional  and  life altering service that the Hospice provide.

Your support will mean the world of difference to those families in our community facing a terminal illness this Christmas. Help me to keep Cornwall Hospice Care's nurses caring.

Thank you
