Southampton RAG takes on the incredible Hadrian's Wall Trek with Choose a Challenge and in support of the National Autistic Society!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Seeing as I got really into my daily walks...

In July 2021 I will be leading Team Southampton on a 137km trek along Hadrian's Wall in support of the National Autistic Society. We will be trekking for 5 days, from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend, crossing the width of Northern England.

The National Autistic Society is a charity that means a lot to me. My Autism diagnosis at 16 changed my life. From struggling to understand the world around me, it meant I was finally able to gain access to resources and support that allowed me to make a lot more sense of the world and my own differences.

Autism continues to be misunderstood and the term used derogatively in society. The National Autistic Society does not only provide necessary care and support for autistic people, but also campaigns for improved rights, diagnostic services and increased community appreciation for the differences of autistic people. Their work really does make a difference to the lives of autistic children and adults, to allow them to thrive in society.

Your donations would go towards the goal of ensuring that no child or adult goes under the radar or is held back because they are autistic, and instead can become their best and happiest selves.

Any support towards my fundraising goal would be incredible!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
