Story

Our team are going to collectively be walking the steps of Peel Park in Salford 710 times, and since the staircase has 46 steps, we'll be climbing the equivalent of Kilimanjaro! Our goal is to raise £1000 for Tearfund, and we would we really appreciate any donations, prayers and encouragements!

We are doing this through Tearfund's Emerging Influencers course- more information about it and what they're/we're doing below!

Emerging Influencers is a six-week leadership programme for 16-23-year-olds. This community of young adults are raising money for Tearfund's life saving work in helping people to lift themselves out of poverty. We are raising funds to help our global neighbours who are facing extreme poverty and those who have been thrust into poverty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the pandemic began, Tearfund and our local partners and churches have been responding to the needs of vulnerable communities all over the world. This has included providing emergency food packages during lockdowns, setting up hand-washing stations in communities, and distributing face masks and hygiene supplies.

Lots of love,

Gemma, Amy, Caleb, Dylan, Emily, Kayla, Ollie and Tapuwa!
