Help me raise money for SSJ in their 2019 Sleep Out

The Sleep Out 2019 · 15 November 2019
It is that time of year again when I start dropping hints to Mike about all the little things I would love for Christmas. He will roll his eyes at the silly things I want, that he knows I don't really need!
A few years ago It broke my heart when I watched children in Bulgaria opening shoeboxes we sent them at Christmas and how happy they were to get a toothbrush or some colouring pens.
It breaks my heart even more to know that some people won’t even wake up in a comfy bed let alone open presents or eat a warm Christmas dinner.
On the 15th November I will be sleeping on the streets of Portsmouth to help raise awareness about homelessness and raise money for the SSJ who support vulnerable people who don’t have their own home.
‘Everyone has the power to change their lives – some people just need more help and investment than others. SSJ’s support is aimed at enabling people to achieve a more rewarding life and have their own safe home again. Our role is not to tell people what they need to do to change their lives, because people have to make their own choices and decisions. What we do know is that for some people their ability to make wise decisions is impaired because of their life experiences, and we need to respond to this with a practical but sensitive approach.’’ SSJ.
Please help me raise money for this great cause!
