I am extremely excited and nervous to be running my first half marathon this year but Hospice Africa truly deserves every penny!!!

This is a charity set up in Uganda by Dr Anne Merriman which provides palliative care to patients and palliative care training to providers across the continent of Africa. For over 25 years Hospice Africa has been providing this care and affordable morphine to HIV/AIDS and cancer patients which has massively improved their quality of life and allowed these patients to live free of pain and at peace. 

Myself and a group of others runners (mostly based in and around London) will be taking part in the event. We love community activities, spending fun and quality time with others and giving back what we can! Our group ranges from some very expert runners to some who are trying to run for the very first time!
