Tyneside Memory Walk 2012 · 30 September 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Thank you Jane!! x

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After taking part in the Memory Walk last year, my great friend Emma and I have decided to do it again. Its a great cause, very inspiring and we really enjoyed the walk. I walk in memory of my Grandma who suffered from dementia as a result of an operation before she passed away last year. We were fortunate she could still remember her close family but she was unable to care for herself at home alone. It was a struggle for my family aswell as upsetting and stressful for her. After seeing how difficult it can be, I believe there should be more help out there for family's who need it, which is why I am doing my bit to help the Alzheimers society.
