From the 5th to the 12th October, I will be trekking the final part of the imfamous Santiago De Compostella trail. I have always wanted to take part in a trek and I think this will be a great first experience for me. 

I also want to support the Rowans Silver Jubilee Appeal as it is a project I am working on at Rowans Hospice. On a daily basis I meet people who have been helped by our services, not only in my work but also in my personal life. I want to ensure we can continue this work for the next 25 years by updating our Hospice to meet the platinum level of care. 

Rowans Hospice looked after my Nan, so I will be doing this in memory of Joan Matthewson.  I know first hand the wonderful work that the Hospice provides free of charge.
