The Loony Dook · 1 January 2014

We’re here to inform, support and advocate for everyone affected by pregnancy loss. Miscarriage, ectopic and molar pregnancy can be a deeply distressing and difficult experience, and everyone who experiences pregnancy loss and its impact should get the understanding, care and support they need.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Paul and I are taking part in the Loony Dook 2014. This involves dunking ourselves in the chilly water of the Firth of Forth at South Queensferry on New Year's Day morning.

Our chosen charity is the Miscarriage Association.

The Miscarriage Association was founded in 1982 by a group of people who had experienced miscarriage and they continue to offer support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy and to raise awareness and promote good practice in medical care.

We have chosen to support them as at the toughest of times, they provide great support, and we want to return the favour.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
