We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

I've got a post on my blog which tells you about my Race for Life 2014 experience http://wherearemyknees.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/race-for-life-2015.html I'm hoping to not fall over this year and push myself to get a good time.

Last year CRUK spent nearly £4 million in Wales on some of the UK’s leading scientific and clinical research.  They work in partnership with my employer Cardiff University, Cardiff and Vale Health Board and Velindre NHS Trust, focusing particularly on bowel, breast, urological and prostate cancers, as well as leukaemia.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
