Graduates from the Air and Naval team in Hastings are taking on a GDUK site relay challenge. The five graduates Jack Kenworthy, Joshua Mitchell, Kirsten McCormick, Marcus Locke and Ralph Mason, will cover the total distance between all of the GDUK sites within a week, from 7th June - 13th June, starting from Hastings and finishing at Merthyr Tydfil. Each graduate will cover a share of the distance in their local area, and together their accumulative distance will be almost 500km. Daily updates on “distance completed” shall be posted so that you can engage in our progress throughout the week. We aim to raise £1,500 for our chosen charity, Help for Heroes.
Help for Heroes is a British charity which provides lifelong recovery support to service personnel who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty, and to their families. Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. Your fundraising helps them recover and get on with their lives. So far, Help for Heroes have supported more than 25,000 people and won’t stop until every veteran gets the support they deserve.
