We are Dominican friars, blessed with vocations, who have ministered in Britain since 1221. We form part of a large religious order in the Catholic Church, active in over 100 countries. We are called ‘Dominicans’ after St Dominic, who founded us in 1216. In 2021 we celebrate 800 years in Britain.
