Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Geoff's JustGiving page.

Geoff Cropper was "Mr St.Helens". He gave up so much of his time and effort to St.Helens RLFC. Whether that be organising countless functions to raise funds for the academy, keeping the talent running through this amazing club to helping run many testimonials for players that were coming to the end of their careers. Geoff did all this for the love of the club and never received a penny. He was just so happy to see he'd done his bit and watch quality players run out at either Knowsley Road to the recently named Totally Wicked stadium.

Geoff was a genuine nice guy who followed the mighty saints everywhere. His knowledge for the game was second to none. Not only would he tell you who scored in any game from his beloved saints he would tell you the ref, attendance and the way the wind was blowing!!!

Yes Geoff had a mad passion for his home town rugby league club but was also a very talented cricketer, supported Leeds United FC and loved a good old cuppa tea. But most of all lived for his family and friends helping others whenever he could.

This page is set up to show his families appreciation for the help and care he received from Willowbrook Hospice in the later stages in his life. I know his family cannot thank the hospice enough. If you can help share, support and sponsor this page Geoff, his family and Willowbrook hospice would be over the moon and welcome the contribution (no matter how large or small) to help keep this amazing work continue.

Geoff will be sadly missed by many. Thank you so much for reading this page set up in memory of "Mr. St. Helens".
