All who know me will understand why I am so inspired to raise funds for Cancer research. 

With loosing my mother Carole to cancer and more recently, close friend Simon Foley, a loving husband and father of 4 girls only spurs me on more to help organisations and cancer reserch.

Seeing the positive attitude of all the staff in the Hospitals cancer patients visit is inspirational. As soon as you walk through the doors of these organisations it is so inspiring. Seeing positive attitudes has a profound effect on all the patients who visit and Staff from Macmillian provide an outstanding service to match.

Personally I would like to thank Velindre in Cardiff for the treatment my mother received, they were professional throughout and nothing was too much too ask. Special thank you to Alison Jones and her team, very professional on dealing with sensitive situations. Many Thanks 

My mother was fortuniate enough to have support from the Hospice of the Valleys and never had to need to use Macmillian as we had all the support we needed. But I understand that others will rely on Macmillian as we did with the hospice and having people on hand when needed is a must.
