Mesothelioma is a cancer caused by asbestos exposure.  It places suffering on those with it and those who live along side it.  Hope and support comes from a small number of dedicated people.  My father-in-law, Glynn Reynolds, was diagnosed with mesothelioma and the support provided was, and continues to be, most helpful.  On 28 June-4 July 2014 I am attempting to run 7 marathons in 7 days across the Lake District, Pennines and North Yorkshire Moors following Wainwright's A Coast to Coast route.  This is my way of helping.  I will find the undertaking tough, but my suffering will be insignificant compared to my father-in-law and many others like him.  The support provided to mesothelioma victims is freely given, I ask you to give freely so others can also receive help when most in need.
