Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

An inexperienced man on an inappropriate boat.........................

I'm planning to row the entire length of the navigable, non tidal river Thames (Lechlade to Teddington) on my home made wooden fishing boat, sleeping on board, in fourteen days during September 2019.

The distance along the river is 127 miles, including 43 locks.

Along the way I will be raising money for HorsebackUK.

HorseBack UK is a charity set up to empower service personnel and veterans suffering from life-changing injuries and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and to aid them on their road to recovery. Using horsemanship and exposure to the natural environment participants gain self confidence and self esteem amongst people who have experienced similar trauma.
