Sitting in Covid-19 induced self isolation has made me feel a little helpless. I'm sure many of you are sitting there feeling the same; you want to help fight this thing and support others but have no idea where to start. I hear you.... it's why I've decided to grow my facial hair! It sounds a little futile in the face of an invisible killer but here's my thinking:

1. I have never, ever grown a beard (but have a 5 o'clock shadow after clean shaving that morning so reckon I could grow a belter of a beard - stay tuned as it grows)

2. Our baby is due in a month and I dare to think of all the millions of children and families around the world that need our help more than ever (Thank you Unicef for all your ongoing incredible work!)

3. All the barbers are shut so no chance of a haircut

4. Turning into an Ape for April has one hell of a ring to it

Please donate only if you can as I know there is a lot of stuff out of our control right now (which is more important than the hair on my face) but if you can spare a few pennies or even the cost of your normal haircut that would be awesome to help protect and support people you will never meet but be grateful to you forever...
