Many of you will know how little I enjoy sport but this year I have decided to push myself further than ever before and attempt a half marathon. 

Yes you heard that right, I 'George Bethell' am going to run a half marathon!

I wanted to raise money for a charity that is close to my heart. Secret World Wildlife Rescue do incredible work, rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife of all shapes and sizes before releasing them into the wild. 

As a child I was fortunate enough to visit Secret World on many occasions and see the amazing work that they do for British wildlife, these visits helped to shape the love for the countryside and its wildlife that I have today.

Last year in my latest career move I started working at Secret World. In the short time that I have been there it has been a pleasure to see the determination and enthusiasm that the staff put in to ensure every animal that comes through the door is given the best care possible and another chance at life in the wild.
