George Bridgman is raising money for Bowel Cancer UK
Team: Team Rick
Story
This is a cause very close to all our hearts in the Bridgman-Morel family: So, this is me, doing my bit for Bowel Cancer UK and our very own, Team Rick.
Seven years ago, Rick, the most amazing dad to all 8 of us, was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. In 2018, it returned, not only to his Bowel, but Liver and Pancreas too. Sadly, in July this year Rick passed away after putting up an almighty fight right until the very end.
Every year, 42,000 others are diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in the UK, and more than 16,000 loved ones die from the disease. I will be running the London Marathon in less than 6 weeks to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK supporting the incredible work they do.
I have never met a man as kind and selfless as Rick, his positive attitude throughout his battle was truly inspirational and I can honestly say it’s the only thing that keeps my legs moving when I’m out running.
Any donation, big or small, will not go unnoticed. Team Rick, let’s smash it!
