Story
Hello everyone!
Much to Eluid Kipchoge’s dismay, I will be taking part in the London Marathon on 23rd April. The charity I have chosen to fundraise for is Macmillan Cancer Support. MacMillan Cancer Support is close to my heart as they were very supportive to my grandmother, mum and mum’s sister when my grandfather passed away from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma aged only 40, long before I was even born. I am incredibly grateful for everything that Macmillan do to help families in a similar situation and will do everything I can do raise funds for such a good cause.
I am in my last year at Glasgow University so I’ll be training and fundraising in-between revising for my final exams in May. Not ideal timing but I am absolutely determined to take part and raise as much as I can.
Any support from you would be very much appreciated – THANK YOU!
