We think of cancer affecting those who are old, who are unhealthy, who are weak, who are careless, this isn't true it can affect anyone at any time! Proven recently by some young celebrities cases such as Adele Roberts, Deborah Jones and Ben Richards to name a few... as shocking as celebrity diagnoses are, on a personal level, last year I was devastated to be told that a close family member with a young family had been diagnosed with bowel cancer, I hope by doing this event that it helps raise awareness, increasing early diagnosis and treatment.
