Story
I'm doing what I love, with a fundraising twist for BBC Children in Need. Together we can support children and young people across the UK to rebuild their lives.
George decided he wanted to do challenges to raise money for Children In Need .He has a variety of complex needs as many of you know.He really wants to see his name on the bottom of the screen on the show. Him and his carer have achieved 5 individual challenges all of which have stretched and pushed him and his capabilities.
He proudly wore his special T shirt and what is more amazing is he allowed us to take his photo.
1,He made a lego model following the instructions in under an hour.
2, He made a yummy chocolate cake reading the instructions and weighing everything in under an hour.
3, He played 3 rounds of nonstop darts getting the bull 3x. So adding up numbers which he struggles with.
4, He walked up the steepest steps to Tenby North Beach and he said his legs felt like jelly.
5, Then he walked around Scolton Manor finding the route himself.
All of this would not have been possible without his amazing support worker carrying his epilepsy meds and encouraging him.
So far he has £50 sponsor money .
I am so proud of him for initiating the idea and carrying it out with a smile.Needless to say he was exhausted .
