You were all so very generous in sponsoring me last year for the Co-operation Ireland Maracycle that I decided not to seek sponsorship for the 2011 event. Thank you all very much.

However, since completing the event last weekend 25/26 June a lot of my friends and previous sponsors have asked me to update the "Just Giving" web page so that they can once again sponsor.

Some details - after the event -

Day 1 Dublin to Belfast, 110 miles, with a tail wind 8 hrs 40mins @ an average speed of 14.9mph.

Day 2 Belfast to Dublin, 110 miles, with a strong head wind was hard, reduced speed to 12.5mph.

Hard work but a very well organised event with lots of support and good camaraderie.
