George Needs a Living Kidney Donor · 17 June 2017

The main purpose of AKPA is to help improve the quality of life for patients who are being treated for kidney disease at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and its satellite dialysis units. They provide financial and welfare support for kidney patients and campaign to improve their conditions.

Story

I am starting this page to raise awareness for the need for living donors across the UK.

George Richardson is my brother-in-law to  be.  He has been on Dialysis since 2002, and still looking for a living kidney donor.

Visit www.moodmentor.co.uk/George for the full story.  It links back here in the Just Giving section.

While raising awareness, it seems right to also raise funds for the local AKPA Patient Care Unit, for the amazing work they do in supporting patients like George, through long and gruelling programs of dialysis.

Thanks for taking the time to visit his JustGiving page.
