Hi, I’m George and I’m a bird keeper at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. I am running a marathon around the zoo to raise money to keep ZSL London & Whipsnade Zoos running throughout the duration of the COVID-19 crisis.

 ZSL London & Whipsnade Zoos need to get their more than 22,000 amazing animals from the majestic lions to the smallest, most colourful frogs fed and cared for throughout the crisis. 

The Zookeepers and vets are working night and day to care for them, but we need to help. As a charity, ZSL rely on funds from supporters and visitors. Animal lovers keep them going!

The animal residents continue to squawk, prowl, leap, swim and hop thanks to the dedication of the wonderful team of keepers, vets, nurses and nutritionists. The most important way you can help at this time is to donate. Every gift really does make a difference to the animals and the dedicated staff caring for them.

By coming together at this difficult time, we will continue to inspire and share a love of animals, and work together towards a future where wildlife can thrive.
