Story
As of 1st May 2020, one hundred and twenty NHS healthcare professionals had sadly lost their lives to Covid 19, whilst trying to save the lives of others.
In their memory I am going to attempt to cycle 120kms in under 24 hours (1km for each worker) on my indoor cycling trainer.
I have never cycled this far before in a day and can think of no better reason to challenge myself than to honour our NHS heroes. I have decided to raise the money for this charity, because it is my local hospital and where my dad works as a frontline NHS professional.
