Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are raising money for Headway as we hope that at some point they will help Lauren in her recovery from the brain tumour she was diagnosed with in April 2007. Lauren is a remarkable friend and we are proud to have run the marathon to help her and other's in a similar position to her.

We couldn't have done it without everybody's support- I did 5hrs 30 mins and Glenn did an incredible 4hrs. We won't close this account for another month so any last minute sponsorship is still very much appreciated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
