In memory of Dave Hughes

Story

On 14th October, Trafford Golf Centre will kindly be donating money for every ball hit on the driving range during the day.

In conjunction with this young George Hughes ( age 5 ) will attempt to hit 300 golf balls over a 2 hour period.

George's daddy ( Dave ) needed a new heart and the Freeman Heart & Lung Transplant Association ( FHLTA ), helped to care and support both his daddy and mummy who spent months by his bedside.

Unfortunately, the transplant didn't work and sadly George lost his daddy, when he was only 18 months old.

The FHLTA care for both patients and families from all over the UK who are in need of a transplant, by offering support with accommodation as well so much more to take away any financial worries.

In golf George has discovered a sport he loves and it certainly helped to take his mind off sad things.

Please support Georges challenge of hitting so many golf balls, and raising funds for this brilliant and caring charity.

Many thanks

George Hughes age 5.
