Hi I’m Georgia Mae and I am running the London 2023 marathon for SpecialEffect! 

I am a Game Developer at Rocksteady Studios  and have been lucky enough to have been introduced to and seen the amazing work SpecialEffect do. I am so inspired by their efforts to make video games accessible to everyone. Video games were such an important part of my childhood and I think everyone deserves to be inspired by and experience the world of games, no matter their needs. 

I have never run further than 10k before, so a marathon is going to be quite a challenge! I’m so looking forward to this adventure of training for my first marathon, and I’ll be posting updates so everyone can see my journey. Bring on April 2023!
