On August 24th 2023, we became English Channel Swimmers! After 12 hours and 13minutes of swimming, Helena, Beth and I reached France and completed our epic swim. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way and helped us to smash our fundraising target. 

In August this year, I will be joining a team to swim the English Channel to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Swimming the Channel has always been a dream of mine, so when I saw a Facebook Ad in January asking for a 3rd person to join a team, I knew I had to jump at the opportunity. So here I am, along with Helena and Beth training hard for our crossing. 

Now we need your help.

1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer in their lifetime (https://lnkd.in/eAaPCu55), sadly many of us may be familiar with the realities of this statistic already.

But with continued support for research into the cure and prevention we can break this stat!
