I'm taking on 60 Miles in September for Bliss, the UK's leading charity for babies born premature or sick.

Every year, around 1 in 7 babies born in the UK are admitted to a neonatal unit. For families, this can be a frightening and uncertain time. This became our reality when our little baby boy was born 7 weeks early at 33 weeks, it was an unexpected & worrying time for us as a family! Our boy was discharged from the NNU after a long 6 week hospital stay.

We were so lucky to have received such amazing care from the Neonatal Unit and I would like to be able to give back to provide the same care for other families going through the same or if not a similar experience.

Bliss provides vital support to those families, campaigns for better neonatal care and works to improve outcomes for babies born premature or sick, helping every baby have the best possible chance of survival and quality of life.
