Bupa Great North Run 2014 · 7 September 2014 ·

Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness can access high quality, personalised care. We help thousands of local people each year and make no charge. Each year we must raise £7 million to provide our range of services.

Story

On 7th September 2014, my mum, Aunty Shelly and myself will be running the Bupa Great North Run (Half a marathon) in order to raise as much  money as possible for Saint Michael's Hospice.

We have chosen to run for Saint Michael's Hospice following the loss of my Aunty last July, who sadly lost her battle against cancer far too soon. She spent her final weeks in the Hospice and received fantastic care. This is our chance to thank them for looking after her!

I am aiming to raise a minimum of £250 as this can go towards providing bereavement sessions through Saint Michael's specialist bereavement support service. Having a 10 year old son herself, I feel my aunty would be very comforted to know that the money I raise could go towards something so useful.

No matter how big or small, your donation will help towards my final target! So please, please get donating on here or contact me to donate in person, Thank You! x
