We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

My auntie Jenny, a generally fit and amazing woman, died from bowel cancer in 2011. This autumn I will be running two half marathons in her memory, and to help raise money for other people (and families) who find themselves in similar positions.

After raising almost £400 for 'Beating Bowel Cancer', I would now like to get as much money as possible for 'Bowel Cancer UK' - a charity which aims to improve awareness, diagnoses and support for people suffering with the disease.

It's an extremely deserving cause, so please help me raise as much money as possible - and think positive/speed-boosting thoughts on 15 September (for the Great North Run) and 6 October (the Bournemouth Half Marathon).

26.2 miles... *gulp*
