Khula is a charity registered and based in South Africa that is responsible for fundraising and implementation of education-focused projects in the Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift area of KwaZulu Natal (KZN).

I am running this half-marathon to support a particular programme they are involved in called the pre-school programme. This aims to give children from a very young age the essential learning blocks needed, both in English and their local language. This will allow these children not only have a better chance to succeed in school but also later on in their lives so they can then go on to reach their goals and dreams. I think its a great programme to support the education of children from more disadvantaged backgrounds in a country that despite being beautiful with wonderful people, is riddled with inequality. 

This is the reason I am running for this charity, and I would be very grateful if people could help me reach the fundraising target (an even surpass it!). This will help the charity in a small but important way in its path to reduce inequality in South Africa through better and equal access education.
