By taking part in Saphara's summer fundraiser you will be ensuring that students from marginalised communities get the education they deserve. It's time to follow in Saphara teams' footsteps and take on the #TrektoKaplani.

Last summer I had the absolute best experience travelling to India as part of the Saphara 2019 University Team.

The work Saphara and their partner schools, SNEHA and Kaplani High do is so important to the lives of so many young people. In our lives in the UK we so often take education for granted, for these kids it is their most significant resource. The #TrektoKaplani challenge is to help raise money for the Covid-19 emergency response, to help provide support, including food and hygiene products to those greatest in need.

One of Saphara's partner schools, Kaplani High, sits 1800m high in the Himalayas. A group of us will be taking on a trek on Sunday the 2nd of August, in an effort to climb this 1800m in the Mournes, with a route of around 18km to reach this goal.

Any support is massively appreciated, the kids at SNEHA and Kaplani deserve all the support in the world.
