Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Grandad Graham was 'Grandad Graham' to many. He was such a loving, kind and gentle man. He gained so much pleasure out of making people laugh and making sure everybody was happy.

Grandad Graham was there for me and my family every step of the way.  Every family holiday, Christmas, birthday, emergency even, he was there, always. Any time I was upset or in need, he would be there with open arms to pick me back up again.

He was such an inspiring man, particularly with his music. I wouldn't be the person I am today without him. I was lucky enough to perform with him in a couple of shows and concerts with Brierley Hill Amateur Operatic Society, but again, even if he wasn't on stage with me, he would still be there.

It was devastating when he was first diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Mainly because we didn't know much about it. However, Parkinson's UK were there to support us. So now it's my time to give a little something back and I am asking you all to help me do this.

On the 2nd August between 4-5pm I will free fall abseil from the top of Liverpool Cathedral, Grandad Graham there with me, down to the bottom, where I hope to see as many familiar faces as possible!

Please give what you can and spread the word. Hopefully, one day soon, someone, somewhere will be able to find a cure for tho horrible disease.
