so...in a moment of madness i decided it would be a fun idea to spend an otherwise-happy Sunday in April running around the streets of London...for 26.2 miles

And, before I could change my mind, the lovely people at Merlin got involved. The idea is that they get all the benefits from the little army of blisters that i will be cultivating between now and then.

Its a truly worthy and effective charity. Not only do they provide emergency healthcare, prophylactic measures against disease, personel and order to corners of the globe in chaos but they also stay around as long as is needed. In Liberia, for example, they have effectively rebuilt the health system attending to almost 2 million people.

So please please scratch around for those rusty pennies in the back of the sofa, because anything you give will be so very appreciated by them, the people they help. And me, and my blisters.
