So.. in 2019 I will be joining the masses in running the streets of London in order to raise money for the Rainbow Trust.

The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity enables families who have a child with a life threatening illness to make the most of their precious time together by providing expert practical and emotional support, where they need it, for as long as it is needed. It is their belief that no family should have to cope alone and offer the whole family support 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

There are approximately 49,000 children in the UK living with a life limiting or life threatening illness. £23 will provide one hour of care, enough time to entertain a seriously ill child so that their parents can have a break.

Whilst losing a loved one is always an emotional and devastating life event, it is usually understood by the realisation that they have lived a full and happy life. Unfortunately this is not the case for the families that have to comprehend losing their child or sibling, knowing that they may never reach their teenage years, graduate from school or have a family of their own.

The Rainbow Trust currently work with numerous hospices, other charities and NHS services and organisations and are looking to expand their reach to ensure that their are no gaps in care or support for those in need.

I am looking for your assistance in helping me support this amazing foundation. I cannot even imagine what these families go through but it is comforting to know that with the Rainbow Trust they will be supported in what can only be described as the most traumatic experience I could imagine.
