Our initiatives work to meet the practical needs of communities. With each valuable donation we can further increase safety around our children's schools and on our streets, help reduce the level of suicides on our railways, increase our response to a national crisis and bring hope and peace to all

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son Aren was stabbed and killed on 29th October 2017 in Croydon. He was 17 years old.

Darren Kenny the Manager at Whyteleafe FC is helping to arrange a memorial football match on Friday 12th July at 6.30pm. There will be a paying bar and food. Entry donation is £5.00.

Venue is at Whyteleafe Football Club, 15 Church Road, Whyteleafe, CR3 0AR.

All proceeds will go to The Ascension Trust who have supported me and my family during this tragic time. They also organise rallies to highlight the devastation violent crime causes to families and the community.

Ascension Trust is the governing body for a number of church-led initiatives, the most well-known of which is Street Pastors.  Ascension Trust also serves communities through initiatives such as Prayer Pastors, School Pastors, Rail Pastors, Response Pastors, Urban Youth Mission and the Synergy Network.  Combining the skills and professional expertise of likeminded Christians and non-Christians, Ascension Trust's aim is to develop and implement practical and effective strategies to transform lives.  Ascension Trust also aims to continue mobilising and training volunteers to serve communities and work with the marginalised in society, to increase the organisation's impact in communities and help create savings for the public purse.

Ascension Trust's motto is "Equipping to Serve"
