Story
How we decided to run the half marathon went as follows:
Georgina: Anyone want to run a half marathon with me in October?
Nichola: Yeah, actually. I've been looking to get fit and a goal always helps. Tell you what, older sister, if you collect me from university in Wales I'll do it with you.
Georgina: Oh yeah. Good idea. You enter us then.
Nichola: *enters online for the both of us*
Georgina: Wait ...it is cheaper for you to go home by train. You might as well do that then.
Nichola: *owned*
Anyway...
Here we are, with six weeks to go, and now the proper training is kicking in. As well as the decision to raise some money for the hospice which our mum stayed in, got the best treatment for cancer and peacefully passed away in. This hospice was brilliant, for all of us, in the end. We wish to thank them by getting some sponsors on the promise of embarressing pictures of our bright red faces as we go around Birmingham in October running 13.1 miles (or in Nichola's case - shuffling).
Please dig deep and find those pennys. It is for a good cause, we guarantee.
