Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Coram, the UK’s first and longest-serving children’s charity, changes lives, laws and systems to create better chances for children, now and forever.

Story

I did it! On Sunday I ran the London Marathon in support of the children’s charity, Coram. It was an amazing experience and pretty emotional when I crossed the finish line. My thighs are now in agony and I can't sit down. But it was worth it.

Coram is an excellent charity that works with disadvantaged children and adolescents to help improve their life chances. To help children reach their full potential, the charity has a number of schemes, including youth programmes, education programmes, art programmes, parent support programmes and one of the most successful adoption services in the country. It is thought to be the oldest children’s charity in the UK. If you want to know more, please check out the charity at http://www.coram.org.uk/section/about.

I would really appreciate any donation you might be able to make to this worthy charity.
