Story

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Walk The Walk Worldwide will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The last few years have been somewhat challenging but remembering that motto “healthy body = healthy mind” I have decided to fight back and take on a big physical challenge: The 2007 Moonwalk.
This is a marathon walk through the streets of London on 19th May. Thousands will walk 26.2 miles in decorated bras to raise money to help beat breast cancer, a cause very close to my heart. You can see exactly what I shall be wearing - I hope you like my efforts on what I can only describe as a Mrs Doubtfire size bra!

Not only have I set myself an enormous personal physical challenge (contrary to popular belief this is "no walk in the park" - I have battle through shin splints, blisters and losing toe nails!) but also a big target to make a real difference in fighting this disease. We are all inundated with requests like this and everyone does their bit for charity but I would be enormously grateful if you did feel like supporting me in any way in this venture.

Who knows what the future holds for me after the Moonwalk but at least I should be fit to take on whatever challenges are thrown at me next!

Many thanks for your support.

With love

Georgina
