Your support will help kick-start imaginative changes at Guy's Cancer. These changes could lead to new ways of detecting cancer, improve peoples recovery, or minimise the terrible side effects some people experience.

Story

Hi! Thank you for visiting our page and supporting our fundraising efforts.

We are Marina and George, a Therapeutic Radiographer and a Radiotherapy Physicist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

Having both lost close family members to cancer, this cause is very close to our hearts. Through our work at the cancer centre, we also witness every day the strength, resilience, and courage of people facing cancer.

We have seen first-hand the difference that charitable support can make. In our department, Guy's Cancer Charity has funded a range of technological innovations in radiotherapy that have improved treatment accuracy, reduced side effects, and enhanced patients' comfort and overall experience. The charity has also funded staff wellbeing initiatives that make a meaningful difference to those providing care.

We are fundraising to help ensure this support can continue. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help make a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
