In Memory of Georgoulla Xenophontos

Chris Xenophontos is raising money for Alzheimer's Society
In memory of Georgoulla (Georgia) Xenophontos
At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
mother, Georgoulla (Georgia) on Wednesday 11th May 2022 at the age of 75

The harsh reality though is that we lost her a long time ago
to the ravages of Alzheimer’s. Not all at once, but piece by piece, day by day, slowly but surely she slipped away from us. However she gave a good fight, outliving almost everyone at the care home, surviving pneumonia twice and even beating Covid - a testament to her strength, not to mention her stubbornness!

And despite the pain and the loss, the memories of her will always live on in our hearts.

This is a cruel disease and one where we hope from the lessons learnt and funds needed, will one day ensure our loved ones and their families never suffer again.

The funeral service will be held on Monday 6th June 1pm at
St Mary’s (Panayia) Trinity Road Wood Green N22

The burial will be at 2.30pm at the New Southgate Lawn
Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with our father.

In honour of her life please instead of flowers
