London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

I ran a youth football team for almost 13  years, finishing 3 years ago when the boys became too old!. One of the boys in the team was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma http://www.cancer.net/cancer-types/ewing-sarcoma-childhood-and-adolescence/statistics. Tom is currently undergoing treatment. On hearing his story, I was inspired to try to raise funds for this incredible charity.

I was very fortunate to be selected to run the London Marathon for one of the charity places for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ Teenage Cancer Trust are  the only charity dedicated to making this happen.

Please help me raise some funds to help this amazing charity
