Signpost Young Carers Service –   Being a carer can be tough. Taking care of somebody with illness, addiction problems, or a disability, washing, cleaning up and trying to look after a person (often a family member ) so that s/he can be independent is not easy……….especially if you are 6 years old .Signpost Stockport for Carers  works with young carers aged from 6-25 to support them to fulfil their own needs as individuals, working with schools and colleges to raise the profile of carers recognising that nearly every school in Stockport will have at least one young carer.
