Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in support of Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2010.

For some time I have been keen to complete an event like this, but I never seemed to be able to find the time.  Then, last autumn I watched the 'Wounded' on BBC1 and found the motivation I needed to commit myself.  None of it will be easy, but I am determined to go MAD (Make A Difference).

My training will start in earnest in a few weeks time - I need to be ready to pedal 70-80 miles a day every day for nearly a week.  To meet my minimum sponsorship targets, I must raise £900 by 1 March 2010 and £2200 by 1 July 2010 - if everyone I know contributes at least £10 - but I'm hoping that many of you will be far more generous - I should be able to raise significantly beyond those targets.
